NRI Relocation, a leading corporate relocation management company headquartered in Buffalo Grove, Illinois, is celebrating its milestone 40th anniversary on October 7th. Since 1985, NRI has partnered with organizations nationwide to move employees to new opportunities around the world.
Founded by Herbert Seeger and Theodore Bell in 1985, NRI began as National Residential Valuation Services, Inc. With the rise of American corporations, employers were adding increasingly alluring benefits to relocation packages to entice talent.
Mr. Seeger founded the company in response to a rising demand for expert home marketing and valuation services. He brought on Mr. Bell, who Worldwide ERC® officially credits as the creator of the Guaranteed Buyout Offer (GBO), to help employees sell their homes quickly and embark on new career opportunities. NRI Relocation’s early work set the industry standards for today’s relocation real estate transactions.
